Our take on the RØDE Reporter
The RØDE Reporter is a handheld omnidirectional dynamic mic, suited to IRL streamers who interview people on the street. At a tracked $149 it sits at the bottom of a tight $149 to $152.59 range since August 9, 2026.
The frequency response is tuned for voice, and the grille has several layers of mesh for wind protection. The body is die-cast with a long handle for pointing at a speaker. It is wired with a 150 ohm impedance. An omnidirectional pickup also hears the crowd, so hold it close. Retailer ratings average 4.1 across 380.
