Our take on the Sony ECM-W1M
The Sony ECM-W1M is a Bluetooth wireless mic system that mounts on a Sony camera shoe, for IRL streamers who want a clip-on voice mic. At a tracked $324 the price has held flat across 4 points from October 1 to October 19, 2026.
The listing ties it to Sony Handycam, Cyber-shot, Alpha and NEX cameras, and the seller asks buyers to confirm compatibility first. That is the detail that decides it: check your camera model before ordering. The spec sheet lists a 32 ohm impedance and a 20 KHz response. A wireless mic keeps your voice close while the camera moves, which helps with sound that stays in sync on a walking stream. Retailer rating is 4.0 across 75 ratings.
