Our take on the Allen & Heath Qu-16C

The Allen & Heath Qu-16C is a digital mixer with USB audio streaming, built for streamers or small studios running many mics at once. It is a desk fixture, not a travel mixer.

Sixteen preamps and seventeen motorized faders give hands-on control of every channel. A 5-inch touchscreen shows the mix, and 100 scenes can be recalled. USB audio streaming connects it to a PC. It also lists automatic mic mixing and a mixing app. The unit weighs 7.3 kg. Retailers rate it 4.8 across 44 ratings.

Pros
  • Sixteen preamps and motorized faders
  • 100 scene recall for different shows
  • USB audio streaming to a PC
Cons
  • Heavy at 7.3 kg, so it is not portable
  • Only 44 retailer ratings
