Our take on the SteelSeries Arctis 5

The SteelSeries Arctis 5 is a gaming headset with a chat mix dial, for streamers who balance game and voice chat on the fly. It has RGB lighting.

The ClearCast mic is bidirectional with noise cancellation. DTS Headphone:X v2.0 provides surround sound. Air weave cushions and a steel-reinforced headband are meant for comfort. Impedance is 32 ohm and weight is 12.8 ounces. Retailers rate it 4.6 across 9,815 ratings. That dial is the key detail on stream, since it lets you turn chat down without leaving the game.

Pros
  • Chat mix dial balances game and voice
  • ClearCast bidirectional mic
  • Air weave cushions
Cons
  • Chat mix dial runs through USB
  • RGB lighting is built in
