Our take on the GVM 80W
The GVM 80W is a Bowens-mount LED key light kit with a softbox, aimed at streamers who want one strong light on their face. At a tracked $134 it has not moved across 11 price points from August 9 to October 19, 2026, so there is no sale pattern to wait for.
The Bowens mount is the detail that matters: it takes standard softboxes, so you can swap the diffuser later. The kit comes with a tripod and a softbox that rotates 180 degrees, which lets you angle the light off axis to soften shadows on a face cam. It is a studio light, not a pocket light, so it suits a fixed desk or room setup. The listing carries 4.4 across 331 retailer ratings.
- Bowens mount accepts standard softboxes
- Full-range dimming and beam angle control
- Softbox rotates 180 degrees for off-axis light
- Six pounds plus tripod, so it stays in one room
- Price flat at $134 with no dip in tracking
- Listed with Bluetooth only, no other control detail
