Our take on the DROP ALT High-Profile
The DROP ALT High-Profile is a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown RGB switches and a tall CNC aluminum case. It is listed at $129 and the price held across three checks from August 9 to October 1, 2026.
The switches are tactile and hot-swappable, so you can change them without soldering. Per-key RGB is included, and it connects by USB-C on Windows, Mac and Linux. The listing says the frame is close to double the weight of the original ALT, so it stays put on a desk but is harder to move between setups. Retailer rating is 4.2 across only 56 ratings.
