Our take on the Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 (3rd Gen)

The Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 (3rd Gen) is an eight-in, eight-out USB interface for streamers with multiple mics. It suits a podcast style or music stream.

Four XLR and quarter-inch combo inputs use third generation preamps, with a switchable Air mode. Two more inputs take instruments. Converters work up to 24-bit and 192 kHz. Four XLR cables are included. Retailers rate it 4.7 across 29 ratings. On stream, the extra inputs let you run a host mic and a guest mic into one box and still have inputs spare.
