Our take on the Sony FX6
The Sony FX6 is a full-frame cinema camera body for streamers who want a pro video source and can pay for one. At a tracked $7,298 it sits at the top of its $6,998 to $7,298 range since August 12, 2026.
On paper it is far past any webcam. The listing gives a 10.2MP full-frame sensor, ISO up to 409,600, 627 phase-detection autofocus points with eye tracking, 4K up to 120p at 4:2:2 10-bit, and a built-in variable ND filter from 1/4 to 1/128. That ND is handy when you shoot in daylight at a wide aperture. The listing is body only, so lenses cost extra, and a real camera needs a capture route into OBS. Retailer rating is 4.2 across 21 ratings.
