Our take on the Outdoor Research Alti II
The Outdoor Research Alti II is a GORE-TEX mitten built for 8,000 meter climbs and Arctic trips, for IRL streamers who work in extreme cold. It is tracked at $208.95 and has not moved across 3 points from Aug 9 to Oct 1, 2026, so there is no sale to wait on. The retailer score is 4.1 across only 16 ratings.
The outer is GORE-TEX over nylon, and the listing calls it the brand's most technical mitt. This listing is size Large in the Agate color. Mittens keep hands warmer than gloves but leave fingers together, so running a phone or camera controls takes a glove liner or bare hands. The listing gives no insulation rating or weight. It suits a streamer shooting in snow or at altitude more than a casual cold-weather walk.
