Our take on the Razer BlackShark V2
The Razer BlackShark V2 is a wired closed-back gaming headset with 50 mm drivers and a cardioid mic, a cheap all-in-one for new streamers. The spec sheet names the model BlackShark V2 X. At a tracked $34.99 it sits at the bottom of a $34.99 to $39.99 range since August 9, 2026.
The headset weighs 240 g and uses foam cushions. The mic is cardioid, so it favors your voice over sound from the back and sides. It connects by 3.5 mm to PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, though an Xbox One stereo adapter may be needed. The 7.1 surround is software based and works only on 64-bit Windows 10. Retailer rating is 4.4 across 40,345 ratings, a very large sample for this price.
