Our take on the Canon EOS R1
The Canon EOS R1 is a flagship full-frame mirrorless camera with a 24.2MP stacked sensor, built for fast action more than desk streaming. At a tracked $6,799 the price has held flat across 11 points from August 12 to October 19, 2026.
The spec sheet lists Dual Pixel AF with action priority, and a 6K 60 RAW video mode. It uses the Canon RF mount and weighs 2.5 pounds. A real camera needs a capture card to reach OBS. The listing also mentions a neural upscaling feature for stills, which does nothing for a stream. Retailer rating is 4.6 across just 17 ratings.
