Mac streaming used to mean running the Windows kids’ hand-me-downs. Apple Silicon flipped that: the M-series chips encode video brilliantly, and the software that targets them natively gets more out of a MacBook Air than OBS gets out of many gaming PCs. The catch is that most streaming software still treats the Mac as an afterthought.

If you already know OBS, it will do the job. If you are starting fresh on a Mac, try Meld first.
