Our take on the Amaran 150c RGBWW COB Light
The Amaran 150c is an RGBWW COB light with a Bowens mount and Bluetooth mesh control through the Sidus Link app. It costs a tracked $225, the bottom of its $225 to $251 range since August 26, 2026.
The Bowens mount accepts a wide set of softboxes and reflectors, so a streamer can soften the key light on their face. The fan is described as quiet, and the 48V DC input lets it run from an AC adapter or other power. Ratings are strong: 4.8 over 173. Modifiers are sold separately, which adds to the cost of a full setup.
- Bowens mount takes standard modifiers
- Quiet fan listed
- Tracked price at its lowest, $225
- Modifiers cost extra
- Only 173 retailer ratings
Where it fits in a build
A lit face reads as higher production than any camera upgrade. At a desk one key light is enough; in the field a pocket light on the rig keeps you visible after dark. See every lighting pick

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model.
