Our take on the Aputure MC Pro
The Aputure MC Pro is a small RGBWW on-camera light with weatherproofing, made for IRL rigs that see rain or dust. At a tracked $199 it sits at the top of its $169 to $199 range since August 2026, so a sale could save $30.
The listing names a 45 degree beam, 2000K to 10000K color range, CRI 96 or higher, and an IP65 rating. Magnetic accessories include a flat diffuser, a dome diffuser and a 30 degree grid. Control is by Bluetooth app. Battery is listed at 2 hours. Only 13 retailer ratings so far, at 4.9, so the sample is very small.
- IP65 dust and water resistance
- Wide color range with CRI 96 or higher
- Magnetic diffusers and a light grid

Where it fits in a build
A lit face reads as higher production than any camera upgrade. At a desk one key light is enough; in the field a pocket light on the rig keeps you visible after dark. See every lighting pick
