Our take on the Core XCell V-Mount Battery
The Core XCell is a 99Wh V-mount battery with a color OLED display, aimed at a camera rig that also feeds a laptop. At a tracked $159 it sits at the top of its $135.15 to $159 range since July 2026, so a sale could save around $24.
Outputs include 8V and 12V jacks, P-Tap and USB-C Power Delivery. The OLED shows percentage and remaining runtime, and five color themes help you tell packs apart. It meets airline carry-on rules at 99Wh. At 1.5 pounds it is a heavy piece of belt or backpack weight. The 5.0 rating covers only 3 retailer ratings, so treat it as unproven.
