Our take on the Elgato Green Screen
The Elgato Green Screen is a collapsible chroma key panel that lets OBS drop your background for overlays. It suits a streamer who wants a clean key without a permanent wall setup.
The panel opens to 58.27 by 70.87 inches on a pneumatic frame that locks when lifted, then retracts into an aluminum case. The fabric resists wrinkles, which is what a clean key needs. Setup and teardown are quick. It weighs 20.5 pounds. Retailers rate it 4.7 across 8,063 ratings, at a tracked $160.
- Pop-up frame locks itself in place
- Wrinkle-resistant fabric for a clean key
- Retracts into a hard case
- Heavy at 20.5 pounds
- Fixed 58.27 by 70.87 inch panel size

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
