The Lexar PLAY PRO 512GB is a microSD Express card for handhelds such as the Nintendo Switch 2, Steam Deck and ROG Ally. It costs a tracked $207.12, the top of a $109.99 to $207.12 range since August 26, 2026, so waiting for a sale is the better call.
Lexar lists up to 900MB/s read and 600MB/s write using PCIe, and says it falls back to UHS-I speeds in older hosts. That fallback is the detail to weigh: a host without microSD Express support gets none of the speed. The write number also assumes Lexar's own Express card reader. For streaming, it is more for game storage than recording. Retail average is 4.6 across 1,457 ratings.
