Our take on the Mackie Mix8 8-Channel Compact Mixer
The Mackie Mix8 is an 8-channel analog desk mixer for streamers who want real faders and knobs for an XLR mic and a few line sources. At a tracked $99.99 it has not moved across 6 readings between July 13 and October 1, 2026, so there is no sale pattern to wait for.
Two mic/line inputs with phantom power cover a condenser mic, and two stereo 1/4 inch line inputs take other sources. Every channel has a 3-band EQ, and there is one aux send. The detail that decides it: the specs list the connection only as wired, with no USB output shown, so work out how the mix reaches your PC before buying. The retailer rating is 4.5 across 1,187 ratings.

- 3-band EQ on every channel
- 4.5 across 1,187 retailer ratings

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
