Our take on the MAONO A04 Gen2 XLR/USB Condenser Kit
The MAONO A04 Gen2 is a condenser mic with USB and XLR outputs and a 16 mm capsule at 192kHz and 24 bit. It costs a tracked $61.16, the bottom of its $61.16 to $71.24 range since August 26, 2026.
The kit includes a scissor arm stand, shock mount, pop filter and windscreen. A cardioid pattern reduces side noise. Maono Link software handles settings. A condenser picks up more room sound, so treat the room. The 19,958 retailer ratings at 4.5 are shared across several A04 listings. A good starter mic with an XLR upgrade path.

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
