Our take on the MAONO PD100X USB/XLR Dynamic Mic
The MAONO USB/XLR mic is a dynamic microphone that plugs into a PC by USB or into an interface by XLR, so it can grow with your setup. At a tracked $45.99 it sits in the middle of its $39.99 to $49.99 range since June 2026, so a sale could save about $6.
The listing names tap-to-mute, a gain knob, headphone monitoring, software EQ and noise reduction. USB audio is 16-bit at 48kHz, which is fine for chat and streams. RGB lighting offers three modes and eight colors. It is rated 4.5 across 1,068 retailer ratings. The XLR jack is the reason to pick it over a USB-only mic: you can move to a mixer later.
- USB and XLR in one mic
- Tap-to-mute and a gain knob
- Headphone monitoring built in
- USB audio is 16-bit at 48kHz

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model.
