Our take on the Movo X1-Mini Shotgun Mic
The Movo X1-Mini is a supercardioid shotgun mic for cameras and phones, a pick for IRL streamers who want better audio than a built-in mic.
Its tracked $69.95 has not moved across 3 points from August 26 to October 1, 2026. It runs on plug-in power with no battery and has an aluminum body with a shock mount. It lists camcorders, cameras, mixers, PCs and smartphones as compatible. It uses an auxiliary connection. Retailer rating is 4.4 across 356 ratings. On a phone rig it sits on a cold shoe or cage, close to the subject, which cuts the room echo. Check that your phone or camera has a compatible input.
- Battery-free plug-in power
- Supercardioid pattern with a shock mount
- Works with cameras, phones and PCs
- Needs a compatible auxiliary input
- Price history is only 3 flat points
- Mounts on a camera, not a desk
