Our take on the Action cam shoulder mount
The action cam shoulder mount is a backpack strap clamp that holds a camera at chest height, for hands-free IRL streaming. Its tracked price has stayed at $13.53 since August 12, 2026, so there is no sale pattern to wait for.
The wraparound strap fits different strap widths, and the pad is elastic nylon with a polycarbonate buckle. A J-hook and a screw are in the box, but the camera is not. The listing sets a weight limit of 2 kilograms, so a heavy mirrorless body will not fit. It weighs 1.92 ounces and works with GoPro and DJI cameras. Rated 4.5 across 3,768 retailer ratings.

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
