Our take on the SmallRig Universal Phone Cage
The SmallRig Universal Phone Cage is a metal cage with two side handles, for streamers who film on a phone and want mounts for a light or mic. At a tracked $59.99 it was flat across three points from August 25 to October 1, 2026.
It fits phones from 57mm to 90mm wide, which covers most current models. The handles have cold shoe mounts on top for a light or microphone. The built-in Allen wrench changes the handle angle. We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
