Our take on the Vanguard Alta Sky 45D
The Vanguard Alta Sky 45D is a large camera backpack that holds one or two pro DSLRs with attached lenses, three or four lenses and a flash. It costs a tracked $152.64, near the bottom of a wide $150.15 to $259.99 range since August 26, 2026.
Access comes from the rear, top and side. A dedicated laptop compartment fits up to 15 inches, and a tripod carry system is built in. Interior size is 12.6 by 7.9 by 20.1 inches. It is bulky for a light IRL stream. The spec table names the 51D size, not the 45D, so confirm the model. Reviews average 4.5 over 487 ratings.

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
