Our take on the RØDE NT2-A
The RØDE NT2-A is a large-capsule condenser studio mic with variable patterns, suited to streamers with an interface who want one flexible voice mic. At a tracked $315 it sits in the upper part of its $276 to $324 range since August 9, 2026.
It has a 1 inch gold-sputtered capsule, three polar patterns of omni, cardioid and figure-8, a high-pass filter at flat, 40 Hz or 80 Hz, and a pad at 0, -5 or -10 dB. The capsule has internal shock mounting. It is wired with a 200 ohm impedance. Retailer ratings average 4.8 across 849.

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model.
