Our take on the Neewer 480
The Neewer 480 is a two-light bi-color LED kit with stands, suited to a streamer who wants one key light and one fill at a desk. At a tracked $179.99 it sits at the top of its $169.99 to $179.99 range since August 9, 2026.
Each panel has 240 white and 240 yellow LEDs, with separate knobs for brightness, from 0 to 100 percent, and for color temperature, from 3200K to 5600K. The stands extend from 3 to 6.2 feet, and the box includes diffusers, power adapters and carrying cases. Battery is not included, so these run from the wall. Each panel is about 10 inches square. Retailer ratings average 4.7 across 2,736.

Where it fits in a build
A lit face reads as higher production than any camera upgrade. At a desk one key light is enough; in the field a pocket light on the rig keeps you visible after dark. See every lighting pick

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
