Our take on the MOUNTDOG Softbox
The MOUNTDOG softbox kit is a two-softbox daylight lighting kit, suited to streamers who want soft light on a face cam. At a tracked $75.99 it sits at the top of its $69.99 to $75.99 range across three points between August 9 and October 1, 2026.
The listing gives a color temperature of 5700K and a color rendering index of 85. The softboxes are made of PET fabric with a reflective inside, and the kit uses aluminum parts. The packet gives little more on bulbs or stands, so check the listing for what is in the box. Retailer ratings average 4.4 across 3,692.

Where it fits in a build
A lit face reads as higher production than any camera upgrade. At a desk one key light is enough; in the field a pocket light on the rig keeps you visible after dark. See every lighting pick
