Our take on the Deity PR-2
The Deity PR-2 is a pocket audio recorder with a lavalier mic in the box, suited to IRL streamers who want a backup recording. At a tracked $155 it sits at the bottom of its $155 to $194 range since August 12, 2026.
It has a locking 3.5 mm stereo mic and line input and records in 24-bit and 32-bit float. The listing gives 30 hours on AA batteries and Bluetooth control through the Sidus Audio app. It also has a color screen. It records to a card, so it is not a live audio source for your stream. Retailer ratings average 4.5 across 62.

We do not lab-test hardware. Ratings and review counts come from the retailer listing and are labelled as such; stream-quality figures are conservative planning budgets from our published model. Prices are tracked at build time, not live, and were last refreshed 2026-10-22. How the numbers are derived: methodology. How picks are chosen: editorial policy.
