Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM Art

The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM Art is a bright prime lens for APS-C cameras, for streamers who want a soft background behind a face cam. At a tracked $315 it sits at the top of its $225 to $315 range from Aug 9 to Oct 1, 2026, so this is a wait-for-a-sale buy. The retailer score is 4.5 across 727 ratings.

The specs list a Canon EF-S mount. On a 35mm camera the view equals about 45mm, close to human vision, and the aperture is f/1.4. Minimum focus distance is 0.30 m and the filter size is 62mm. A rear focus system is listed to keep image quality steady. It is a prime, so you move the camera to frame instead of zooming. For streaming, you still need a capture card to send the camera to OBS.
