Our take on the Philips SHP9500
The Philips SHP9500 is a wired open-back headphone with 50 mm drivers and a 1.5 m cable, a cheap pick for monitoring. At a tracked $84.98 it sits in the middle of a $62.49 to $99.99 range tracked since June 2023, with the last update on September 21, 2026.
It has 32 ohm impedance and 101 dB sensitivity, with a double-layer headband cushion and breathable ear pads. Open-back cups let sound leak out, so they suit quiet rooms without a live mic nearby. There is no mic. Retailer rating is 4.6 across 9,123 ratings.
