Our take on the AKG C314
The AKG C314 is a large-diaphragm condenser mic with four selectable polar patterns, suited to streamers with an interface who want a flexible studio mic. At a tracked $845 it sits at the bottom of its $845 to $879 range since August 9, 2026.
It shares the one-inch dual diaphragm capsule of the C414 XLS. The mic has a 20 dB pad, a bass-cut filter and an overload LED. A shock mount and case come in the box. The output is XLR, so you need an interface or mixer. Retailer ratings are 4.8, but only 16 of them.
