Our take on the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro
The Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro is an open-back studio reference headphone with 250 ohm drivers, for streamers who edit and mix audio. It has no mic. At a tracked $650 it sits at the top of a $399.99 to $650 range since August 9, 2026, so wait for a sale.
The listing gives 45 mm drivers, a detachable cable with mini-XLR connectors, and two sets of ear pads with analytical and balanced tuning. It ships with two cables and a hard case. The open-back design lets sound out, which is fine for mixing but not for a live room mic. Retailer rating is 4.6 across 1,678 ratings.
