Our take on the Lewitt LCT 640 TS
The Lewitt LCT 640 TS is a large-diaphragm condenser mic with five polar patterns, suited to studios that want to change the pattern after recording. It has held a tracked $949.99 across 11 points between August 9 and October 19, 2026.
In Dual Output Mode the front and back diaphragms feed separate circuits, so the pattern can be changed later with Lewitt's POLARIZER plugin. Patterns include omni, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-8. It weighs 8 ounces. That power is more than a typical voice stream needs. Retailer ratings average 4.5 across only 14.
