Our take on the Beyerdynamic Amiron Home

The Beyerdynamic Amiron Home is a wired high-impedance headphone for streamers who want detailed monitoring at a desk. It has soft microfiber ear pads.

The listing describes high-resolution sound with clear detail across genres. The headband and pads use Alcantara microfibers and microvelour for comfort over long hours. Impedance is 250 ohm and weight is 12 ounces. Retailers rate it 4.2 across 305 ratings. At a desk it pairs with a separate mic for streaming, and the high impedance means it benefits from a headphone amp.

Pros
  • Soft Alcantara headband and pads
  • High-resolution sound
  • Comfortable over long sessions
Cons
  • 250 ohm suits an amp more than a phone jack
  • No mic included
