Our take on the ASUS ROG Carnyx
The ASUS ROG Carnyx is a USB condenser mic with a built-in pop filter, for streamers who want lots of controls on the mic itself. It has a 25 mm capsule.
Sampling goes up to 192 kHz at 24-bit. A high-pass filter reduces low frequency noise, and a metal shock mount cuts vibration. A one-touch mute button and a multi-function knob handle volume and headset monitoring. Aura Sync RGB lighting is built in. Retailers rate it 4.5 across 126 ratings.
Pros
- One-touch mute and a control knob
- Built-in pop filter and high-pass filter
- 192 kHz at 24-bit sampling
Cons
- USB only, no XLR
- Only 126 retailer ratings
