Our take on the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Headphones
The Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro is an open-back studio headphone with 250 ohm impedance, for a streamer who mixes and edits with a headphone amp. At a tracked $199.99 it sits at the top of its $149.99 to $199.99 range since July 13, 2026, so wait for a sale.
The listing says the 250 ohm drivers are designed for an audio interface or headphone amp. Open-back design gives a wide stereo image, but sound can leak toward a nearby mic. It has velour pads and a fixed 3 m coiled cable with a 1/4 inch adapter. Retailers rate it 4.6 across 20,232 ratings.

Monitor your audio. Closed-back headphones (no mic) are the pro pick if you mic separately; a headset adds a mic for comms or casual use. See every headphones / headset pick
