What it contributes to the stream
This part alone, with every other slot assumed generous and a platform that allows the tier. Your build's real verdict is the lowest ceiling across all its slots, which is what the configurator computes. Conservative planning budgets, not measurements: methodology.
Our take on the Logitech Brio 101
The Logitech Brio 101 is Logitech's entry-level 1080p webcam, built for video calls and usable as a simple face cam for a first stream. It plugs into USB-A with no setup, has a sliding privacy shutter, and uses RightLight to brighten the picture automatically in a dim room.
At a tracked $35.81 it is well above the $23.49 low we have recorded since June 2026, so it is worth waiting for a dip if you are not in a hurry. Zoom and framing are adjusted in Logi Options+ rather than in OBS, which is one more app to keep installed. Pair it with a real microphone; the built-in one is tuned for meetings.
- Automatic low-light brightening helps in a dim room
- Physical privacy shutter built into the body
- Plug-and-play over USB-A with no drivers
- Tracked well above its recorded low of $23.49
- Framing controls live in Logi Options+, a separate app
- Built-in mic is meant for calls, not streaming
