Our take on the Canon EOS R50 V (body)
The Canon EOS R50 V is a 24.2 megapixel APS-C mirrorless body built for video creators, sold here without a lens. It costs a tracked $619, the top of its $569 to $619 range since August 26, 2026, which is $50 above the low.
It has an RF mount, a front record button and a vertical video tripod mount. Video modes include 4K crop at 59.94p and 4K at 29.97p over the full width, so the 60fps option crops the frame. Dual Pixel autofocus tracks people. As a face cam it needs an RF lens. Reviews average 4.6 over 144 ratings.
